After completing training by Harrison Training, Jessamy set-up and ran a Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) programme in 2018 for people living in the Bristol community. Through this experience, the need for a dedicated post-stroke upper limb service became very clear and AROT was founded.
Jessamy sees the long challenging road people face during post-stroke rehabilitation. She believes hard work, education, perseverance and motivation are key in recovery. Jessamy has first-hand experience in providing a therapy environment which promotes these qualities, supporting people to explore and maximise their own recovery potential.
