ABOUT AROT
Arm's Reach Occupational Therapy (AROT) provides personalised assessment, goal setting and therapy programmes to adults experiencing difficulties with daily living activities because of a neurologically-affected arm and hand. Reports are also available on request. Therapy is aimed at people with low, medium and high functioning arms and hands.
AROT was developed to meet the needs of individuals who have exhausted NHS therapy options but feel there is still room for more work. For more information, please read the printable AROT General Information Leaflet here.
AROT offers both face to face and remote assessment and therapy sessions. This means people living anywhere in the UK can access the service, including those self-isolating due to Covid-19. Individuals participate in therapy within the familiarity of their home environment. Sessions focus on integration of learned therapy skills into home life and daily activities.
